As a Data Engineer, you will work to create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge. On a typical day, you might

· Translate business needs to technical specifications.

· Design, build and deploy BI solutions with Tableau as the primary BI skill

· Leverage Tableau to maintain & support data analytics platforms.

· Involve yourself in unit testing and troubleshooting.

· Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.

· Create visualizations and build reports that exceed the expectations of the clients.

· Work on enhancing the BI systems that exist.

· Develop or ensure that the tech documentation developed is updated.

· Understand any Bi-level SLAs and take care of BI performance tuning

· 5-7 years of overall experience having atleast 2+ years of relevant experience in Tableau with a strong background in data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling) and data mining.

· In-depth understanding of database management systems and online analytical processing (OLAP) with strong exposure to ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework and any ETL tool would be an added advantage

· Should have strong experience working in Tableau

o Model creation

o Creating Measures

o RLS Implementation

o Performance Tuning

o Security

· Comprehensive knowledge of SQL.

· Proven abilities to take initiative and be an innovative analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude

· Adept understanding of any of the cloud services is preferred (Azure).
